		<description>I would never get a Dell these days, or an HP. They just come with too much crap pre-installed. It's cheaper to just build it yourself from Newegg. You also then have a virgin computer, nothing on it that you didn't put there yourself....


I do hear the Dell makes a good laptop computer still....</description>

		<description>I too can't stand applications that launch on startup, I usually have to mess around with my Sister's computer whenever I pay her a visit just to get her computer under control.  Dell especially makes it a pain to stop some of their own applications from loading on startup, I remember someone had created a "Dell Decrapifier" program to go through and delete all these useless apps.</description>

		<description>your probably even more of a geek if you know that are apps that you actually &lt;i&gt;want&lt;/i&gt; to load on start-up. (i use desktask and taskbar shuffle load on start-up on all my systems).</description>
