Old hymn stuck in my head…

Ever get one of those old hymns stuck in your head? I been singing, ‘Softly and Tenderly’ for days now. You can’t beat these old hymns!

Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling,
Calling for you and for me;
See, on the portals He’s waiting and watching,
Watching for you and for me.

* Refrain:
Come home, come home,
You who are weary, come home;
Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,
Calling, O sinner, come home!

Why should we tarry when Jesus is pleading,
Pleading for you and for me?
Why should we linger and heed not His mercies,
Mercies for you and for me?

Time is now fleeting, the moments are passing,
Passing from you and from me;
Shadows are gathering, deathbeds are coming,
Coming for you and for me.

Oh, for the wonderful love He has promised,
Promised for you and for me!
Though we have sinned, He has mercy and pardon,
Pardon for you and for me.

    Nnnoooooooo… if you start me singing that song it will be in MY head, too! Argh! :-)

    Actually, I prefer to have hymns that have been put to modern arrangements stuck in my head, because some of those older organ melodies make my gastric juices curdle. Just like Just As I Am.

    Hi, I’m just about to learn about Flash, and then I came over this article by you: The Best Structure for your Flash Site. This lead me to your blog. I just want to say that I was greatly cheered up when I saw you faith stuff! So thanks! God bless!
